You do not need to capture anything per learner.
Learners register themselves. Share your school code above and they sign up, enter their own marks and upload their own report cards — Nexus verifies every submission. You only add a yearly teacher review for each learner. The referral form below is still here if you would rather add someone yourself.

Parent access codes
For parents who have no email address. Issue a code, print the slip, and
hand it over at a parents' evening or send it home with the learner. The
parent signs in at nexuspipeline.co.za and sees only their
child's term marks, the yearly review, and a way to contact Nexus.
Give the parent the PIN separately from the code where you can — by SMS or by saying it out loud. A slip that has both halves on it is enough on its own for anyone who picks it up.

APS is not one national standard. A score only means something next to the institution it belongs to.
UP, NWU, UJ and TUT use the standard best 6, Life Orientation excluded (max 42) — the figure Nexus stores.
Wits counts the best 7 including Life Orientation, gives English and Maths bonus points from 60%, and scores anything under 40% as zero (max 56).
UCT adds raw percentages of the best 6 (max 600).
Open any learner's Marks & APS panel to switch between these scales on the same set of marks.

Requirements change every year and meeting the minimum never guarantees a place. Some faculties also require the NBT.
